Outstanding Alumna Award

Each year the Outstanding Alumna Award is awarded to a Kappa Kappa Gamma Austin Area Alumna, who is an active/dues-paying member of the Austin Alumnae Association and has not previously received the award.

This award is given to an alumna who has distinguished herself in service to Kappa Kappa Gamma and the local community during the past year or several years. The Outstanding Alumna may be nominated by any active Kappa alumna and is voted on by the Austin Alumnae Association Board by secret ballot. The award is presented at the Founders Day Banquet.

“Kappa Kappa Gamma symbolizes all that we wish to accomplish in our lives. Kappa Kappa Gamma represents the struggles we all face as we grow. Why we cling to Kappa Kappa Gamma no one can explain, but in the end, we are all stronger for it.”
