Why Join Austin Area Kappas?
“I do solemnly promise that I will ever be a true and faithful member of Kappa Kappa Gamma.”
We made this pledge at our initiation, and we repeat the oath at every board meeting and official Kappa meeting to remind ourselves that the bonds of sisterhood do not end at the conclusion of our college years. Here’s the good news… our college days are over and, as alumnae, we are free to enjoy all the benefits of membership without the homework!
When you pay your dues, you get: premier access to all Alumnae Association events, information about the Kappa Book Clubs, Mah Jongg groups, the babysitter list as well as first notice and opportunities for table sponsorships and tickets to Kappa Settings and Kappas on the Kourt.
We are proud of our reputation and involvement in the Austin community! Our members have raised thousands of dollars for worthy non-profits and the Kappa Foundation. This year we added Kappas on the Kourt Pickleball fundraiser to our list of activities and raised money for our philanthropy, NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness). It was a rousing success enjoyed by Kappas and their friends.

Dues information is as follows:
Austin Alumnae Association Dues $35
Fraternity Per Capita Fees $35*
*$10 discount for those 0-8 years post-initiation & 65+ years post-initiation.
