The Beta Xi Scholarship was established in 1952 with a modest surplus of funds leftover from Beta Xi’s 50th anniversary celebration. In 2008 the Scholarship was greatly enhanced with a generous donation from Jane Boldrick, a Beta Xi alumna from San Antonio, Texas. Awards are need-based, applied to tuition, and are available to active and alumnae members of Beta Xi.

Applications for the Beta Xi Scholarship are due on March 1, 2023 for the 2023-2024 academic year. Applicants may be either Beta Xi Actives, or Beta Xi Alumnae who are enrolled in graduate school! All application materials must be received by the March 1 deadline with no exceptions.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

>Must be an initiated or affiliated member of the Beta Xi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma in good standing

>Must be a dues paying member of their Alumnae Association (if applicable);

>Demonstrate financial need; and

>A new application must be completed each year.

All awards are restricted to tuition and will be made directly to the College or University. If you are interested in contributing to this worthy cause, donations can be made to the Beta Xi Scholarship through the Austin Community Foundation. Go to austincf.org / Donate / Give to A Specific Fund / Beta Xi Scholarship Fund of Kappa Kappa Gamma. It is a meaningful way to honor a friend or relative and help our Kappa sisters!
