Our History
Welcome to the Austin Area Kappas, home of the Austin Alumnae Association. Founded in 1919, alumnae of Kappa Kappa Gamma continue to thrive in Austin, Texas and the surrounding areas.
We offer programming to Austin Area Kappas of all ages, and we hope you will join us to unlock a host of benefits including our calendar of programs and events, newsletters, recruitment information, philanthropy information and giving opportunities, electronic membership directory, and much more.
As part of the Austin Alumnae Panhellenic Association (AAPA), we support the Beta Xi chapter at the University of Texas, the Epsilon Rho chapter at Texas A&M University, and other chapters home to Austin area actives.

Outstanding Alumna
Each year the Outstanding Alumna Award is awarded to a Austin Area Kappa, who has distinguished herself in service to Kappa and the local community during the past year or several years. The award is presented at the Founders Day Banquet.
